You’ve All Been Stumbled

I wrote a post a while ago pointing out 5 things you could do to help me help you – and all of those things are still valid if you care to click through. What’s more, they’ll work just as well for your site as they will for mine!

The post was motivated by the idea that this site needs to have a degree of authority before it’s seen as a good place for people to promote their site.

This is especially true for those interested in the SEO benefits offered by the Mona Lisa Million (and similar projects I have planned for the future).

Simply put – as this site gains authority through inbound links from trusted sites like yours, the value the outbound links becomes greater. So, the more you help me, the more I help you.

One of the things I asked you to do in the ’5 things’ post was share this site on social media like Stumble and Digg.

But then I got to wondering why should it only be a one way thing? And in a post where I declared (several times) that bloggers are lazy I admitted that I didn’t even have a Digg account myself.

For my part I decided to Stumble every site on the Mona Lisa Million and that’s exactly what I’ve done. Every site on the Mona Lisa is now also on Stumble!

Whilst this might not bring you thousands of unique hits, it all helps bring one more quick and easy external link back to your site (links matter!), and who knows, you may even get those hefty hits if each of your readers takes 30 seconds to Stumble you too!

Thanks for reading,

Dave
