To date, all the occupied sections on the Mona Lisa Million have been given away but today I’ve moved to offering the sections through auction.
Clicking on the solid red blocks on the Mona Lisa will take you directly to the eBay auctions, both of which start at $0.99.
The first listing for R1/17 is a 3 Day listing.
(R1/17 is right at the top of the grid)
The second listing for R4/20 is a 7 Day listing.
(R4/20 is next to Sticky Fingers home of British Mummy Blogger Tara Cain)
As I mentioned the bidding starts at 99cents, and just out of interest the same number of pixels on the Million Dollar Homepage five years ago would have cost you $400 for R1/17 and $1600 dollars for R4/20.
I’m laughing at the idea that right now these auctions will fetch anything like those sums, but I’ll let you know from the off that I won’t be auctioning too many of the larger blocks (like R4/20) in the early stages.
I want this project to raise as much money as possible, so I’m not going to sell off all the prime real estate for peanuts. I’m doing this now to pique your interest and test the waters.
If you’re wondering why I selected R1/17, it’s because it’s at the top and in the middle. And for some reason it already has 6 unique clicks even with it being ‘empty’!
I’ll start some more auctions shortly, but I’d like to see some interest in these two blocks first.
If this is your first time here and you’re wondering what this is all about, have a look at Promote Your Site Here.
Good Luck!!
