Thank you to those of you who have so far taken advantage of the Mona Lisa giveaway and to those of you who have supported me here in my early days with comments.
I’ve been getting some great feedback in the comments and email too. This just serves to boost my enthusiasm for the project to take it on to the next stage.The next stage in case you’re wondering is to get more people to come to the site and get invested in it.
I want to start auctioning the sections pretty soon because after all that’s what this is all about.
Before that happens, I’ll be giving away some more sections of the Mona Lisa. If you missed out last time you’ll probably be fine this time. My motivation for limiting the numbers on the last one was just to gauge the level of work involved and to make sure I had decent systems in place.
As it turns out I didn’t. I’ve discovered from feedback – very valuable feedback that I appreciate immensely – that my template email requesting information like mouseover and anchored link text is a bit confusing.
The thing is I want to give good value to everyone who owns a section. The difficulty is, that “everyone” covers a broad range of people from those who blog only socially and couldn’t give a fig for SEO or anchored backlinks, to those who have online businesses and would drool at the prospect of getting quality multiple links to their site.
I’m going to look again at the way I ask for that information and try to simplify it. I’ve come to understand that not everybody is motivated to own a section in the same way, so I need to reflect that in the content and the email request.

So, back to the subject of feedback. I can’t get enough at this stage so please talk to me about what you see on the site. Have I explained the concept and the benefits well enough? Have I left you feeling confused in anyway? Do you want more information about a specific aspect?
I really want to sort these issues out at the start, so don’t hesitate to be honest and direct.
