What do you think about the way the last three sites have been featured on Mister Good Guy?
You may have noticed from the last three posts that I’ve changed the format a bit.
Take a look at The Jungle Of Life, Random Meanderings and Rainy Day, and tell me if you like the format, or at least the idea of showcasing individual sites.
Doing it this way I’m feel I’m able to shine a brighter spotlight on you and your site. I’m also able to link deeper into your site to posts that are important to you.
I’m working towards making a big deal of having your site featured here. After all, I’m grateful for your participation, but I also want you to feel that you’ve got something of value from the experience.
I’d love it if you felt good enough about being featured here to brag about it to your friends.
To that end, let me know what you think of the changes so far, and please offer suggestions for making the experience something you really do want to brag about.

Oh, and I meant to mention that what I’ve done with the three sites above, I also intend to do with all the sites on the Mona Lisa, so you can expect yet another email from me shortly.

I like the new write-ups. Have you gotten any feedback about increased traffic from being featured? Keep tweaking, you’ll get there!

Hi Erica, thanks for the feedback.
No feedback re traffic stats yet, but it’s early days and in all fairness there aren’t too many eyeballs on the site at the moment. The real benefits (so early on) come from the linking strategy I’ve adopted here.
Besides all of my early adopters will get wheeled out again once the viewing numbers pick up
I have enjoyed what you have been doing. So keep it up is my vote.

Just catching up here after being out of town for a few days. I LOVE the way you have very personally highlighted a site. Having been the benefactor of one of these (you are AWESOME!!) – being on that side – what a GREAT feeling.
And then also – just in seeing the other sites, and what makes them meaningful – it’s all really amazing stuff. Definitely, keep doing this!!

Lance, many thanks. I’ll never stop evaluating ways to improve this. Recently I’ve struggled to find the right format, so it’s good to hear I’m closer to getting it right!
