Reading the newspaper this morning I saw an article about the SWAGs 2010 Charity Calendar.
Actually, it’s fair to say I noticed the pictures first and then read the article!
In case you don’t know… SWAG stands for Servicemen’s Wives And Girlfriends – so basically the wives and girlfriends of military personnel.
These very attractive ladies have put together what can best be described as a series of ‘cheeky’ photographs based around military backdrops and turned them into a calendar.
To date the SWAGs Calendars have raised £26,000 GBP to help injured servicemen and women in Iraq and Afghanistan through Help for Heroes.
Now this is not for everyone so don’t go clicking through if you blush at the sight of an uncovered table leg.
You will see naked flesh but there’s nothing gratuitous. Put it this way, a national newspaper has no problem printing these pictures, so they’re pretty tame.
It’s all good natured, it’s all done in good taste and it’s all for a very good cause.
So, do you want to buy a SWAG calendar and help a good cause?
Thanks for reading,
Dave

I read this as
“Put it this way, a national newspaper has no problem printing these pictures, so they’re pretty lame.”
Works both ways HAHA

Bryan! Thank you for the Stumble!!
Man, I have seen your papers over there and they are nothing, NOTHING like the wholesome papers we have in the States that only show pictures of dead people, not a Page Six girl in site.
Wait, page six? Page three? One of those pages.
We should find a cause so we have an excuse to put together the Dads of Blogging calendar.

I’d definitely buy a Blogger Dad calendar, if you could convince him to keep his clothes on – unlike another blogger i know *cough*.
