Hi, Welcome to Wednesday’s update of the Mona Lisa Million.
I’m running a bit late today because I’ve been playing with the format…

Sponsor a section of the Mona Lisa and know that you’re helping to support good causes whilst at the same time getting some excellent promotion for your website or business. Every month at least 50% of the after tax profits will be donated to good causes nominated and chosen by the readers. OK, so as I mentioned at the top I’m a little late getting this out today as I’ve been agonising over format changes and wrestling with the theme.
I’m getting the message that people just aren’t getting what I’m trying to do here and I totally understand why. There are plenty of people arriving from the search engines and elsewhere who’ve never clapped eyes on this site before and to be frank it probably looks like a run of the mill blog.
If they were to have a click around they might be able to pick it up, but people just don’t do that – they haven’t got the time.
As the Mona Lisa is the hook for this project I probably need to get it front and centre near the top of the post. That’s what I’ve done here today.
I’ve added a box with a brief explanation and included a link to a page with a fuller explanation.
There’s more to be done to make this better, like improving the copy writing and the visible format, but for now I’ll see how this works out.
On the subject of changes…
I note that Erica at Free Fringes has a new header and I have to say her site looks fab! And check out Erica doing some video blogging!! Very cool.

Aw, thank you sooooo much! Although the hubby was ready to help, I wanted to try designing the header myself. I surprised myself at how much I liked it.
I love that you are evaluating and reevaluating your process. Keep working at it and it will happen the way it should—that is to say very well for you and your family.

Erica, it’s evolving for sure. I think that frightened me to begin with, but now I’m begining to see how it’s taking shape, I actually welcome the evolutionary process. If nothing else it’s good fun and keeps the brain cells firing.
I love your new design. the way the comments are blocked out in colour and also the mouseover feature with the clickable text. The header is fantastic – you have plenty to be proud of… and such a good writer too!
