Help Me Design Buttons And Banners

A great guy named Danny Cooper has offered to create some buttons and banners for those who want to show they’re part of the Mona Lisa Million. I think it’s a great idea and wanted to open up the process to those of you reading the site.

I’m looking for suggestions about the size , colour, content, text, everything really, as we’ve got a blank canvas.

Should the Mona Lisa be featured or should it just be text?

What should the text say? Something like, I’m part of the Mona Lisa Million or maybe See My Site on the Mona Lisa? Do you have any other suggestions?

Should there be reference to helping good causes? Maybe we should mention Haiti somewhere?

I ask because you (hopefully) will be the people displaying them. :D

Danny Cooper for those of you who don’t know is a very talented coder and behind the scenes whizz-kid.

He also has a brilliant idea for raising money for charity. It’s brilliant because it’s simple and costs you nothing except the five seconds it takes you to click through.

Please go and have a look at how Danny is supporting a charitable project to build a school in Cambodia. You can help simply by signing up!

So what thoughts do you have on banners and buttons? I’ll get back to Danny with any suggestions?

Thanks

Dave

How about ‘Help Haiti – make Mona Lisa Smile by Raising a Million’ – (you could give Mona Lisa a big cheesy grin!) Best I could come up with in short notice :)

My Site Makes Mona Smile!
Help me Help Haiti
My Site Makes A Million
Help a Million Make A Million
Help Millions Make Mona Smile
Be One in A Million and Help Haiti
I Bought the Mona Lisa to Help Haiti
Help Haiti – Join the Mona Lisa Millions
My site is One in a Million – I Helped Haiti

Stuck on a theme now – need to go away and think of something else! I think it needs a picture of the Mona Lisa on it – perhaps with a background of Haiti instead of the scenery in the painting – so Haiti forms the back drop for the portrait?

Would scale fine for buttons and could be extended for banners to highlight some of the devastation caused by the quake. As they say – a picture paints a 1000 words.

Fantastic suggestions!!

The idea of the Haiti background is one to look at. You’ve set my mind racing now. :)

LOL Danny, I couldn’t resist your kind offer but my brain is fried and I can’t see the wood for the trees. Thought I’d get some perspective from the people who might want to use the banners. Had no idea it was called Crowdsourcing! :D

Strawberry has come up with some great ideas and it gives us a brilliant starting point.

Exciting stuff this! :D

I’ll be doing videos again soon. Both with me and just created by me. It’s highly important to my new team that I develop the skill, so I’m really looking forward to it. :)
