About Me:

Hi, My name is Dave and I’m a good guy.

No, this is not a meeting of Good Guys Anonymous. This is me openly being a good guy for all to see and I don’t care who knows about it.

There’s no anonymity here. There’s no sneaking around doing good deeds wearing my underpants over my tights – I’m not a superhero… and I haven’t got any tights! I’m just an ordinary guy leading an ordinary life, and other than being in the occasional bad mood and sometimes feeling slightly insular, I am, to all intents and purposes a “Good Guy”.

I’m 41 years old and live in the UK (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and more specifically I’m from England.

For the last two years I’ve been a stay at home dad to 4 young children, having taken a break from an 18 year vocational career in public service.

Over the past two years I’ve been trying to figure out how I can make the career break a permanent feature of my life and remain a stay at home dad. It’s a truly fantastic job, with a real sense of worth, but the problem is it doesn’t pay well. Infact, it pays nothing at all.

To remedy that I turned to the Internet but figuring out where I fit in online has been difficult and at times, very discouraging.

It really seemed that my skills and qualities in my ‘real world’ career didn’t readily transfer to the online world. I mean, how is ‘being a good guy’ the basis of an online business? I really wasn’t sure and honestly felt it was a hopeless cause.

It wasn’t until I stopped thinking about myself that the answer came to me. It was only after I helped to dig a stranded motorist out of the snow that I knew I had to find a way to help people.

This site is where I’m going to do exactly that.
